About Publishizer

Publishizer is an innovative platform that combines crowdfunding with literary agency services, designed to assist authors in funding, promoting, and publishing their books. By allowing authors to create detailed book proposals and launch pre-order campaigns, Publishizer enables writers to gauge reader interest and secure funding before the book is published.

Authors begin by crafting a comprehensive proposal, which includes a synopsis, author bio, and marketing plan. Once approved, the proposal is made public, and the author can start a 30-day pre-order campaign. During this period, readers can pre-order copies, and authors can offer bonuses to incentivize purchases. The success of the campaign is measured by the number of pre-orders, which can attract interest from various types of publishers:

  • Service Publishers: Typically interested when a campaign reaches 50–250 pre-orders.
  • Hybrid Publishers: Often consider campaigns with 250–500 pre-orders.
  • Traditional Publishers: More likely to engage when a campaign surpasses 500 pre-orders.

Publishizer charges a 30% fee on the total funds raised during the campaign, with no additional costs for subsequent publishing deals. Authors retain 70% of the funds and have full ownership of their reader data, which can be valuable for future marketing efforts.

This model empowers authors by providing a platform to validate their book concepts, build an audience, and connect directly with publishers, thereby streamlining the path to publication.
